First Teeth!
Well, this week has been a lot of firsts. Katie now has both her bottom teeth. I'm now regretting letting her use my chin as a teether (and my nose!). She is also now using the walker as it is meant to be used if we slow it down enough for her pace. She has found an upturned plastic box is much better for her speed. I'm worried about what this means for her walking. Although she still can't get from her back to to sitting, so I probably have a bit of tmie before I need to worry.
Unfortunately her sleeping seems to be getting worse. I'm writing this at 4am because she has decided it is a good time to get up. I've had 2 hours sleep tonight.

Watch out here I come....
Katie has been figuring out that she can move herself now. Yikes, better get those stairgates soon! At the moment she is still pretty stationary, but is coming on quickly. She reaches out in front of her (often landing on her nose and then crying - sigh), she'll try and pull herself up against anything and yesterday she actually managed it using my tracksuit bottoms. I thought it might be a fluke, but she has done it again a couple of times today against her walker. It is so funny because she squeals with delight once she has managed it and tries to give herself a quick clap which means she lets go of whatever she is holding onto and falls over! I can see that I'll have to find somewhere safe for her when I go out of the room soon. I feel lucky that she isn't big on rolling as I would have had to start worrying about all this a lot earlier if she had been.
The pictures are of her trying to climb up me, standing against her walker and then feeling all pleased with herself and trying to clap/make a leap at me because she felt she had done well. There is also a picture of her trying to stand up against her walker - she didn't manage it this time and I'll have to be more confident she can do it easily before I risk a photo of her during the climb!
